LINETTE RIVERA, M.D.
Dr. Linette Rivera was one of the founders of Bella Mia Medical in Tampa, Florida, and is now the Founder of GLANZ Endocrinology / Aesthetics / Wellness, a luxurious medical clinic in Miami, FL.
Dr. Rivera earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico, then went on to pursue her medical degree at UCC School of Medicine, also in Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship training in Endocrinology & Metabolism at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2014. She has been practicing endocrinology for over 10 years, with a focus on women’s hormones, menopause, and extensive experience managing thyroid disorders and diabetes. In addition to her medical expertise, Dr. Rivera has in-depth training in alternative medicine, enabling her to design treatment plans that integrate the best of both traditional and holistic approaches.
After several years of practicing as an endocrinologist in the community and working with bioidentical hormones, Dr. Rivera believes that the key to a healthier lifestyle and improved quality of life lies in restoring hormone balance while also preserving beauty and confidence at any age.
Dr. Rivera is also part of D&H Research Center, where she contributes to cutting-edge endocrinology research. The center focuses on developing innovative patient care alternatives, particularly in the areas of GLP-1-based therapies and metabolic health, helping bring the latest advancements in hormone and weight management directly to patients.
She travels nationally to speak on hormone replacement therapies, peptide treatments, and the integration of alternative medicine in modern care. As a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and trainer for Alma Lasers, she shares her expertise in advanced laser technologies across the United States and Latin America. In addition to her work with Alma, she educates other providers on combination therapies, laser safety, and cutting-edge techniques, regularly presenting at leading aesthetic organizations such as the American Med Spa Association (AmSpa). She is also the Founder of the GLANZ Aesthetics Academy, where she provides hands-on training in aesthetic treatments and laser safety.
